All sprinkler systems that are hooked to city water require a backflow preventer.  This device prevents harmful things such as fertilizers to get into our drinking water.  The City of Wichita requires all backflow preventers to be tested yearly when we turn on your sprinkler system to be sure they are working correctly.  In addition to the yearly testing, the backflow preventers must be rebuilt every five years.

Our licensed technicians are certified to test backflow preventers.  We will then file the information with the City of Wichita.
